County Land Available
The Oswego County Airport Industrial Park, owned and managed by Operation Oswego County, Inc. (OOC), is located adjacent to the airport near the intersection of St. Rt. 176 and Howard Rd. There are over 140 available acres of industrially zoned property for many types of businesses that would want to be located close to the airport for logistical and strategic reasons. The Industrial Park is served by electricity, gas, telecommunications and municipal water, with plans for future sewer service.
The park is 1.5 miles from NYS 481 which leads to the major north-south and east-west highways. The Port of Oswego is 11 miles to the north. The park, the airport and the port are located within Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) #90, which could be advantageous for businesses that import and export materials and products. Local incentives and financing are available, from OOC and the County of Oswego Industrial Development Agency, to eligible companies that make the decision to build in the park. Corporate neighbors include Exelon, National Grid, Canfield Machine and Tool, and Doty Contracting.
